PWM19650922• MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC WELFARE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO Meeting Held September 22, 1965. • Meeting was called to order at 3:50 P.M. by Alderman Budish as Chairman, Present were Mayor Gottfried and Aldermen Hudziak and DeAngelis. • Minutes of previous meeting were approved. OLD BUSINESS: Big Muskego Lake Dam (Caesar's Dam). Alderman Budish advised the Committee of his discussion with Mr. Caesar and related that Mr. Caesar's attorney had advised him not to enter into any easement agreement with the City. Their reasoning being the agreement was of a permanent nature and would be detrimental to Mr. Caesar's personal land holdings for future use. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE (Waukesha County Group) Voucher affidavit received for July and August charges for the amount of $1,213.54• In as much that Mr. Herrmann's office stated in their letter that our refund would not be received until other units have paid their additional assessments, Alderman Budish moved to recommend to the Finance Committee that the July and • August vouchers be paid bringing our account to date. Seconded by Ald. Hudziak. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: Communications from Payne and Dolan requesting to set up an asphalt plant was read and placed on file. Committee to await the action taken by the Planning Board. BUDGETS: Public Welfare: General discussion on same. Alderman Hudziak moved to recommend to the Finance Committee the acceptance of a proposed $10,000.00 as the Welfare Budget for 1966. Alderman DeAngelis seconded the motion. Motion carried. Park/Recreation Board: General discussion also on this budget. Alderman DeAngelis moved that the proposed budget for the Park/ Recreation Board as submitted be accepted by the Finance Committee and that an additional $10,000.00 be set aside for a Park land acquisition fund. Alderman Budish seconded the motion. Motion carried. • There being no further business, Alderman Budish moved to adjourn as seconded by Alderman Hudziak.
