MINUTES OF MEETING DATED JULY 21, 1965
•COMMITTEE MEETING CONVENED ON JULY 21, 1965 AT 3:45 P.M. AT CITY HALL.
ALDERMAN BUDISH AS CHAIRMAN, ALONG WITH MAYOR GOTTFRIED AND ALDERMEN
HUDZIAK AND DEANGELIS WERE IN ATTENDANCE. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS
• MEETING WERE APPROVED.
COPIES OF CUMMUNICATIONS FROM MAYOR GOTTFRIED TO MR. CARL WAUER AND
THE WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE WERE READ AND REVIEWED. THE
YOR CALLED ATTENTION, THEREIN, TO THE OWNERS OF THE RENDERING
ANT, THAT NUMEROUS COMPLAtf= WERE RECEIVED ON THE OBNOXIOUS ODORS
EMITTED FROM IT, ALSO REMINDING THEM OF THEIR OBLIGATIONS TO THE
CITIZENS OF MUSKEGO IN THIS RESPECT. N.R. ZELLMER, OF THE DEPT. OF
AGRICULTURE, SANITATION DIVISION, WILL INSPECT THE PLANT IN THE VERY
NEAR FUTURE TO DETERMINE WHETHER THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF CORRECTING
THESE OBNOXIOUS ODORS, AND TO SUGGEST MEANS OF WHICH TO DO SO.
CUMMUNICATIONS FROM THE LAKE DENOON ADVANCEMENT ASSN. WERE READ AND
REVIEWED. ALD. BUDISH MOVED TO HAVE CITY ATTORNEY HIPPENMEYER WRITE
TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION REQUESTING THESE PEOPLE BE GRANTED
ANOTHER HEARING CONCERNING THEIR PROBLEM WITH THE TELEPHONE CO.
ALD. HUDZIAK SECONDED THE MOTION.... CARRIED.
ENTRANCE SIGNS: GENERAL DISCUSSION WAS HELD ON SIGNS. CITY PLANNER
HAD STATED THAT HE WOULD HAVE DRAWINGS AVAILABLE FOR THE NEXT COUNCIL
•MEETING.
LUTHER PARKER CEMETERY: ALD. BUDISHIS INVESTIGATION ON THE BEST
POSSIBLE WAY TO ENCLOSE THE CEMETERY WAS DISCUSSED. HE RECOMMENDED
THAT THE EAST SIDE BE ENCLOSED BY A WOODEN RAIL FENCE, WITH A GATE;
AND PIULTA FLORA ROSES ON THE REMAINING SIDE. IN HIS OPINION, THE
ROSES COULD BE OBTAINED AT NO COST FROM THE CONSERVATION DEPT. ALD.
DEANGELIS MOVED THAT ALD. BUDISH PROVIDE THE NECESSARY DRAWINGS AND
COST FACTORS INVOLVED TO ENCIRCLE THE LUTHER PARKER CEMETERY WITH
A PROPER ENCLOSURE. ALD HUDZIAK SECONDED THE MOTION.... CARRIED.

HORN FIELD BUILDING: STATEMENT FROM MR. GREGORY BOEHM FOR WORK DONE
ON THE BUILDING WAS PRESENTED TO THE WELFARE COMMITTEE.

IT WAS CALLED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE COMMITTEE THAT NO MARKINGS ON
HE BUILDING ON MUSKEGO CITY HALL INDICATES SAME. ALD. HUDZIAK MOVED
HAT ALD. DEANGELIS BE AUTHORIZED TO HAVE THE PROPER IDENTIFICATION
SIGN MADE ON THE CITY HALL BUILDING. ALD. BUDISH SECONDED THE MOTION.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS, ALD. BUDISH MOVED TO ADJOURN.
