FIRST COMMITTEE MEETING CONVENED ON JAN. 18, 1965, 8:30 P.M.,
AT THE CITY HALL WITH ALDERMAN BUDISH AS CHAIRMAN, ALONG WITH
ALDERMEN DEANGELIS AND HUDZIAK IN ATTENDANCE.
UPON MUTUAL AGREEMENT, ALDERMAN DEANGELIS WAS APPOINTED SEC IY.
RECREATION PROGRAM: DISCUSSION OF THE FUTURE OF THE RECREATION BOARS
• AS WELL AS BUDGETS, SUBSEQUENT APPOINTMENTS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
FOR MEMBERS OF THE BOARD TO THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL WERE REVIEWED,
ALL WHICH WOULD PROVIDE CONTINUITY OF THIS PROGRAM.
ALDERMAN BUDISH RECOMMENDED NAMES KIBBIE WHILE ALDERMAN HUDZIAK
RECOMMENDED HARRY CHIC, JR. AS A BOARD MEMBER.
ALDERMAN HUDZIAK MOVED FOR A $7,050 BUDGET FOR THE 1965 RECREAT-
IONAL PROGRAM, AS THAT ESTABLISHED IN PREVIOUS YEAR S BUDGET.
ALDERMAN BUDISH SECONDED THE MOTION, AND THE COMMITTEE CONFIRMED
THIS MOTION.
ALDERMAN HUDZIAK MOVED FOR A $2,100 "OUTLAY BUDGET" FOR IMPROVE-
MENTS TO THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS AT HORN FIELD (MUSKEGO CITY
PARK). MOTION SECONDED BY ALDERMAN DEANGELIS AND MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY. THE "OUTLAY BUDGET" FOR HORN FIELD WOULD BE UTILIZED
TO DEFRAY COST OF IMPROVEMENTS TO GROUNDS, ENTRANCE SIGNS, AND
REPAIRS TO BUILDINGS.
ALDERMAN DEANGELIS MOVED TO HAVE CHAIRMAN BUDISH OBTAIN PERMISSION
FROM THE COUNCIL TO SECURE BIDS FOR AN OIL FURNACE ANDIOR REPAIR
PRESENT GAS FURNACE, IF FEASIBLE TO DO SO, AND TO LET BIDS FOR
THE REMODELLING OF THE INTERIOR OF BUILDING. ALDERMAN HUDZIAK
SECONDED THE MOTION AND MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

WERE OF THE OPINION TO VIEW THESE PROPERTIES AND REPORT THEIR
FINDINGS TO THE COUNCIL.
THE LICENSE OF ROBERT MOELLER FOR THE DUMPING AT ALFRED WA UER'S
PIT BECAME THE NEXT ORDER OF BUSINESS. BECAUSE PREVIOUS TOWN
BOARD OFFICIALS HELD UP THIS REFERRED TO LICENSE, ALDERMAN HUDZIAK
MOVED, ON THE REQUEST OF CHAIRMAN BUDISH,TO VIEW THE AREA IN
QUESTION AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE (LICENS-
ING Div.) AS THEY SO REQUESTED. ALDERMAN DEANGELIS SECONDED THE
MOTION AND MOTION WAS CONFIRMED BY THE ENTIRE COMMITTEE.

MISCELLANEOUS PUBLIC WELFARE: THE POSSIBILITY of NEW IMPROVED
ENTRANCE SIGNS TO OUR CITY, RATHER ATTRACTIVE AND YET WITHIN A
REASONABLE COST, WAS DISCUSSED. IT WAS MUTUALLY AGREED AMONG
THE COMMITTEE THAT EACH WOULD OBTAIN IDEAS, COST, ETC., BEFORE
• SUBMITTED TO THE COUNCIL. ALDERMAN DE ANGELIS STATED HE WOULD
ATTEMPT TO HAVE MADE STENCILS BEARING ��CITY OF !'MUSKEGO" FOR
VARIOUS EQUIPMENT OWNED BY THE COMMUNITY.
