MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD THURSDAY, JULY 11, 1996
The meeting was called to order at 6:50 p.m. by Chairman Patterson.
Also present were Committee members Pionek and Rasmussen, Ald.
Salentine and Clerk -Treasurer Marenda.
The Chairman noted that the meeting was posted in accordance with
the Open Meeting Law.
Posting "No Parking" and "No Parking of Trailers" signs around
Little Muskego Lake accesses was discussed.
Ald. Pionek submitted a proposal for signage for the Pleasant View
access, but preferred not spending money now on signs until more
information is received from the DNR.
Ald. Salentine identified areas for signage for the Oak Ct. and
Hillview accesses.
Ald. Rasmussen moved, Ald. Pionek seconded to approve the following
signs:

to replace existing "No Parking" sign

- On east side of Grove Street - Schubring to Muskego Dr.
- On inside of Circle Drive
- On east side of Oak Ct.
- On north and south side of Hillview - from the lake to
Richdorf
- On east and west side of Luehring Dr.
- On east and west side of Hillside Dr.
Alternatives discussed were: 1) Do nothing, living with congestion;
2) chain off access areas; 3) posting the signs; and 4) posting the
signs and charging the launch fees. It was noted signs could cost
about $4,000-$5,000. It was discussed that it would be best to wait

• The motion to approve signs failed 2-1 with Ald. Pionek and
Rasmussen voting "no" and Ald. Patterson voting "yes".
Ald. Pionek moved to adjourn at 7:08 P.M. Ald. Rasmussen seconded,
motion carried.
