PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMITTEE MEETING
Minutes of Meeting Held Monday, May 21, 2007
Chairman Tina Schaefer called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Also present
were Ald. Dan Pavelko (arrived at 7:10 p.m.), Ald. Bob Melcher, Public Utilities
Superintendent Scott Kloskowski, City Administrator Sheiffer, City resident Kurt
Lembke, and Ruekerl: & Mielke representative Steve c;chultz. Those present
recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Chairman stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open
Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 26, 2007
Ald. Melcher moved to approve the minutes of meeting held March 26, 2007.
Ald. Schaefer seconded; motion carried.
STATUS OF PROJECTS
Mr. Schultz updated the Committee on on -going projects, as per attached
Consultant's Report.
SEWER UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Status of Forced Connection — Martin Drive — Resident has been given
information on funding sources for the cost of the sewer connection.
Determination of Sewer Service for Crystal Lake Subdivision Addn. #1 — No
plans have been submitted to date. Ald. Pavelko moved to table. Seconded by
Ald. Melcher. Motion carried 3-0.
Further Review of Parking on Lift Station Lot on Pioneer Drive — Resident is
requesting permission to park his vehicles on city -owned lot on Pioneer Drive.
Vehicles do not hinder City's accessibility to lift station, Committee expressed a
desire to avoid setting a precedent for citizen parking on city -owned land. Ald.
Pavelko moved to deFer to allow Committee time to review site. Seconded by
Ald. Melcher. Motion carried 3-0, with resident being allowed to park on the
property till a Committee decision is made.
SEWER NEW BUSINESS
Review 1 st Qtr. And Town of Norway Invoices — Ald. Melcher moved to approve
payment. Seconded by Ald. Pavelko. Motion carried 3-0.

WATER NEW BUSINESS
Approval of Well #9 Agmement —. The agreement is a well guarantee agreement
for adjacent property owner to Well #9. Agreement was never executed
previously since Well #9 took longer to complete than previously anticipated.
Aid. Pavelko moved to approve agreement with new dates. Seconded by Aid.
Melcher. Motion carried 3-0.
SUBDIVIDER'S EXHIBITS
Request for Oversizirg IRe imbursement — Woodland Creek — Costs were written
into Subdivider's Agreerne�nt. Aid. Melcher moved to approve payment of
$136,735.00. Seconded t►y Aid. Pavelko. Motion carried 3-0.
Request for Oversizirg Reimbursement — Big Muskego Estates II — Costs were
written into Subdivider's Agreement. Aid. Melcher moved to approve payment of
$21,626.75. Seconded by Aid. Pavelko. Motion carried 3-0.
