PUM19980225• PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 1998 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Sanders. Also present were Committee members Woodard and Slocomb, Utilities Superintendent Kloskowski, and Rich Eberhardt (Ruekert & Mielke). The Committee noted that the meeting was posted in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. Aid. Sanders read the Notice of Informational Meeting. Superintendent Kloskowski explained how the Sunny Hill Water project was initiated and why the Informational Meeting was being held. A petition against the proposed project was presented by residents and is attached. Superintendent Kloskowski explained process and costs involved with a water project. Discussion ensued with residents. • The Committee decided to send surveys to affected residents and review results at the March 16, 1998 Public Utilities Committee meeting. The residents in attendance asked for a copy of the survey results when available. Superintendent Kloskowski indicated he would distribute. Aid. Slocomb moved to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Seconded by Aid. Woodard, carried 3-0. Utility Superintendent Scott Kloskowski and a representative from the city engineering office will be available on Wednesday, February 25, 1998, from 5.30 PM to 6.30 PM, in the Aldermen's Room, upper level of City Hall, across from the Building Inspection Department • The purpose of this meeting is to update affected residents on the status of the sewer project As of this date, the actual dollar figures are not known as the project has just been bid, but the sewer plans are available for review as well as a timeline for the project Your attendance at the meeting would be very beneficial.
