City of Muskego- Email Signature Policy
Electric Mail (Email)
E-Mail may not be used for any purpose that violates any City of Muskego
ordinance or policy.
Computer Users must include their signature block in all communications sent using
Computer Resources and personally owned devices used to conduct City
business.
The signature block must contain the following:
employee name
title
department
phone/cell number
email
fax number
Computer Users must clearly identify themselves as the author of any
communication that they are sending on behalf of another user.
Stationary backgrounds and personal embellishments are not allowed. This
prohibition includes, but is not limited to: pictures, quotations, slogans, icons or
emoticons.
