PCM20040316 PH PAYNE & DOLAN CITY OF MUSKEGO PLAN COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES Tuesday March 16, 2004 Muskego City Hall, Muskego Room, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue PUBLIC HEARING for a renewal of a Conditional Use in accordance with Section 6.03 of the City of Muskego Zoning Ordinance for Payne & Dolan for the purpose of continued mining and processing of sand and gravel, and the extension of use of a portable asphalt plant at the NW corner of Crowbar Road and Janesville Road, in the NE ¼ and SE ¼ of Section 13. PRESENT Mayor Slocomb, Alderman Madden, Commissioners Hulbert, Schaumberg, Brodel, Stinebaugh, Interim Plan Director Muenkel and Recording Secretary Asti. ABSENT Commissioner Michalski Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Slocomb declared the Public Hearing open at 7:00 p.m. Interim Plan Director Muenkel stated that petitioner is requesting renewal of Conditional Use Grant for an extractive permit and extension of use of a portable asphalt plant. Upon a site inspection, staff found the property to be well maintained. The site is paved where product is picked up, and erosion control practices are followed. Petitioner has received the DNR Environmental Leadership Award. No complaints have been received in the Plan Department regarding this property. Mayor Slocomb asked for members in the audience to address the Commission with their input of concerns, questions, comments, etc. There were none. Mayor Slocomb stated this matter would be heard through a resolution under New Business later this evening.
