PLAN COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
June 17, 2003
Muskego City Hall, Muskego Room, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue
For a Conditional Use in accordance with Section 6.03 of the City of Muskego Zoning Ordinance
for the operation of a day care facility for Discovery Days Child Care, within the Muskego Centre
Planned Development District located in the NE ¼ of Section 17 (Tax Key No. 2192.976).
PRESENT
Mayor Slocomb, Alderman Madden, Commissioners Hulbert, Schaumberg, Brodel,
Stinebaugh, Michalski, Plan Director Turk and Recording Secretary Asti.
Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Slocomb declared the Public Hearing open at 7:00 p.m.
Plan Director Turk stated that the Building Site and Operation plan for this proposal was
discussed at length at the previous Plan Commission meeting. A Public Hearing is required to
be held for any day care facility. Petitioner is proposing to construct a 5,000 square foot
facility behind the Kwik Trip. This proposal meets all code requirements and staff recommends
approval.
Mayor Slocomb asked for members in the audience to address the Commission with their input
of concerns, questions, comments, etc. There were none.
Mayor Slocomb stated this matter would be heard through a resolution at the regular
scheduled meeting later this evening. There being no further questions or comments, the
Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
