PLAN COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING HELD AUGUST 03, 1999, 6:55 P.M.
Upon the petition of Frey Automotive for an amendment to a Conditional Use in
accordance with Section 6.03 of the City of Muskego Zoning Ordinance for the purpose
of expanding an automotive sales and service center for J. Frey at the property located
at S107 W16311 Loomis Road.
Present were: Mayor De Angelis, Alderman Salentine, Commissioners Gummer,
Schaumberg, Hulbert, Plan Director Turk, and Recording Secretary Asti.
Absent: Commissioner Smith
Secretary reported that the Public Hearing was properly noticed in accordance with the
Open Meeting Law.
Mayor De Angelis declared the Hearing open at 7:02 P.M.
Plan Director Turk stated that petitioner has modified the parking area regarding the
number of stalls, size of stalls and aisle width in accordance with prior concept
approval. Fenced area will accommodate 32 vehicles. Previously petitioner was
granted conceptual approval of fencing requiring decorative fencing facing right-of-way.
Staff recommends wood dog-ear or similar rather than chain link with privacy slats.
Mayor De Angelis asked the petitioner if he wished to speak on this matter. Mr. Jacob
Frey addressed the Commission that he did not recall fencing was required to be wood.
Mr. Frey has indicated that he had planned on installing chain link fence with privacy
slats.
Mayor De Angelis asked for members in the audience to address the Commission with
their input of concerns, questions, comments, etc. There were none.
Mayor De Angelis stated this matter would be heard through a resolution under New
Business later this evening. There being no further questions or comments, the Public
Hearing was adjourned at 7:05 P.M.
