PLAN COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING HELD June 17, 1997 6:50 P.M.
Conditional Use in accordance with Section 6.03 of the Muskego Zoning
Ordinance for the purpose of eliminating the four eastern 8 unit buildings and the
one eastern 10 unit building and the introduction of one 42 unit building.
Upon the petition of Wimmer Brothers, Agents for Muskego Regency Retirement
Community to eliminate four 8 unit and one 10 unit buildings and introducing one
42 unit building.
Present were Mayor De Angelis, Alderman Salentine, Commissioner’s Vitt,
Schaumberg, Gummer and Director Sadowski.
Secretary reported that the Public Hearing was properly noticed in accordance
with the Open Meetings Law.
Mayor De Angelis declared the Hearing open at 6:52 P.M., and explained the
petition.
Mayor De Angelis asked the petitioner if he wished to speak on this matter: Mr.
Mark Wimmer explained the original proposed design and then presented the
new site plan. Mr. Wimmer stated that the proposed 42 unit building will have
underground parking. This proposed unit will be replacing four 8 unit buildings
and one 10 unit building along with garages. This unit will look comparable to
the 32 unit building. Landscaping has been added along Woods Road, Racine
Avenue and along garages.
At this time, Mayor De Angelis asked for members in the audience to address
the Commission with their input of concerns, questions, comments, etc. There
were none.
Mayor De Angelis asked if anyone else in the audience had any comments.
There were none. Mayor De Angelis stated that this matter would be heard
through a resolution under New Business later this evening. There being no
further questions or comments, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:00 P.M.
