REHABILITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF QUARTERLY MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 25, 2013
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:53 p.m. Present were
Commissioners Madden, Kubacki, Soltysiak, Glazier, Borgman, Hammel, and Wolfe,
Deputy Commissioner Burmeister, Conservation Coordinator Zagar and Director of
Finance and Administration Mueller. Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Ms. Mueller stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Borgman moved for approval of the March 26, 2013 minutes.
Commissioner Glazier seconded; motion carried.
There were no vouchers that required approval.
OLD BUSINESS
Update of Deputy Commissioners — Current Condition of Lake/Bay; Water Levels
Plant Growth, Fish, and Wildlife.
Deputy Commissioner Burmeister reported on the following:
• Higher water levels this year
• City staff working on the remote wildlife video web camera for the osprey nest.
• Bald Eagles have young this year.
• A DNR Avian Ecologist conducted a count of nesting Forster's Terns on Big
Muskego. There were over 40 nests of these endangered birds.
• Fishing is fair, higher volume of boats.
• Weed treatment is scheduled for early July.
Commissioner Soltysiak noted that the improvements for the Boxhorn launch are
scheduled for later this summer.
Status of Big Muskego Lake Wildlife Area — Land Acquisition by DNR
Nothing new to report.

Commissioner Soltysiak moved to adjourn at 7:05 p.m. Commissioner Glazier
seconded; motion carried.
