REHABILITATION DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF QUARTERLY MEETING HELD TUESDAY, MARCH 26, 2013
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:51 p.m. Present were Commissioners
Madden, Schaumberg, Soltysiak, Glazier, Borgman, Harenda, and Wolfe, Deputy
Commissioners Kies, Pilak, Hoeppner, and Burmeister, Conservation Coordinator Zagar and
Director of Finance and Administration Mueller. Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Ms. Mueller stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Borgman moved for approval of the January 22, 2013 minutes.
Commissioner Soltysiak seconded; motion carried.
There were no vouchers that required approval.
OLD BUSINESS
Deputy Commissioners Update Regarding Current Condition of Lake/Bay, Water Levels,
Plant Growth, Fish and Wildlife
Deputy Commissioner Kies stated the ice on the lake is thick. It is anticipated that the weed
treatment done last fall will slow the growth of the Eurasian Milfoil. Active fishing has been
good. Less fish are being taken out because of the higher size limits.
Status of Big Muskego Lake Wildlife Area- Land Acquisition by DNR
Deputy Commissioner Kies stated there is nothing new to report. The Rachel Lang property
was recently acquired.
NEW BUSINESS
Consideration to Discontinue Lake District Fee
Mr. Kies stated that the Deputy Commissioners recommended that the $35 Lake District fee be
waived for the outlot in Nature Estates Subdivision. The nineteen property owners in the
subdivision are already assessed a Lake District fee. Commissioner Borgman moved to
waive the fee for the outlot in Nature Estates. CommissionerHarenda seconded; motion
carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Glazier moved to adjourn at 6:55 p.m. Commissioner Harenda seconded;
motion carried.
