• MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2006
The meeting was called to order at 7:32 PM by Mayor Damaske. Also present were
Commissioners Borgman, Buckmaster, Madden, Melcher, Salentine, Schroeder and
Snead, City Administrator Sheiffer, Plan Director Muenkel, Clerk -Treasurer Moyer, City
Attorney Molter and Deputy Commissioner Kies. Those present recited the Pledge of
Allegiance.
The Clerk -Treasurer reported the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open
Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Salentine moved for approval of the June 27, 2006 minutes.
Commissioner Madden seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Commissioner Salentine moved for approval of voucher in the amount of $10,415
to Marine Biochemists. Commissioner Melcher seconded; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
• Reso. #BML 2-2006 - Resolution to Apply for a Lake Management Planning Grant
Mr. Muenkel stated that the resolution authorizes submittal of an application for a DNR
Lake Planning Grant for design of a settling basin. The total project cost is estimated at
$27,000 with a maximum of $10,000 being available through grant funds. The
remainder of the money will be budgeted by the Lake District. Commissioner
Buckmaster moved for adoption. Commissioner Madden seconded; motion
carried.
Deputy Commissioner Kies noted that the amount budgeted for Marine Biochemists
was $15,000, with only $10,415 being used.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Madden moved to adjourn at 7:37 PM. Commissioner Melcher
seconded; motion carried.
