NEW BUSINESS
U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey Joint Funding Agreement
Mayor Slocomb stated this issue was also reviewed by the Finance Committee earlier.
The agreement is for the operation of the gauging station at the Big Muskego Lake
outlet. The local cost share of 60% is $6,300. The City will pay one half of that amount,
r- or $3,150 from Priority Lakes. The other half is to be paid for by the BML/Bass Bay
Protection & Rehabilitation District. However, the 2003 budget did not include this item
and it was not approved at the annual meeting. It is anticipated that the entire cost
share amount for the agreement will be budgeted and paid for by the Lake District in
2004. Commissioner Salentine moved to approve. Commissioner Patterson seconded;
motion carried.
