CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. Present were Commissioners
Borgman, Hammel, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki and Madden. Also present: Conservation
Coordinator Zagar and Deputy Commissioners Larry Schweitzer, Leonard Pilak, Tom Kies and
Greg Burmeister and Planner Trzebiatowski. Absent: Commissioner Wolfe.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
The Assistant Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open
meeting law.
PUBLIC HEARING ON 2020 BUDGET
Director Mueller stated that overall the proposed 2019 budget is consistent with the prior year.
Total revenues are projected to reach $31,245, which consist mainly of resident fees for various
services. Those fees are $80.00 for On Lake Properties and $35 for Off Lake Properties.
Lastly, the 2019 Fund Balance is expected to reach approximately $86,870 and includes no
increase in resident fees.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF ANNUAL MEETING - August 28, 2018
Leonard Pilak made a motion to approve. Seconded by Larry Schweitzer; motion carried.
DEPUTY COMMISSIONERS' REPORT REGARDING STATUS OF LAKE
• Water level is 1 '/2" over the dam.
• Bogs continued to be an issue.
• Two active osprey.
• No sign of algae; milfoil is almost nonexistent.
• Lots of Starry Stonewort.
• There are fewer cattails.
• Tom Zagar just received results of DNR Fish Survey.
• Fishing is good, but threatened by murky water and carp.
NEW BUSINESS
Review 2018 Audit and Approve Engagement Letter for 2019 Audit
Director Mueller stated that the 2018 audit results show a balance of $151,359. Baker Tilly
Engagement Letter to remain the same as previous years with the cost not to exceed
$1,250.00. Leonard Pilak made a motion to approve the Engagement Letter for the 2019
Audit. Seconded by Larry Schweitzer; motion carried.
Adopt 2020 Budget
Motion by Tom Kies. Seconded by Leonard Pilak; motion carried.

Select 2020 Quarterly Meeting Dates: January 28, March 24, May 26 and September 22
Select 2020 Annual Meeting Date: July 28, 2020
Motion by Leonard Pilak to approve the proposed meeting dates. Seconded by Tom
Kies; motion carried.
Elect Deputy Commissioners
Motion by Tom Kies to nominate the existing Deputy Commissioners to serve for
another year. Seconded by Leonard Pilak; motion carried. Those District residents
present elected the five nominees to serve as Deputy Commissioners.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Greg Burmeister. Seconded by Larry Schweitzer at 5:57 pm; motion carried.
