OLD BUSINESS
NEW BUSINESS
1. Response Times Review — Fire Department — Chief Wojnowski went over the
response times for fire and rescue calls for the quarter. There were no
discrepancies or problems located.
2. Stop Sign — Somerset at Hawthorne Chief Moser recommended that the stop
sign for westbound Somerset be removed. The only stop signed is on Hawthorne
due to the "T" intersection. After brief discussion, Alderman Harenda made a
motion to have the stop sign removed. Alderman Glazier seconded and the
motion carried unanimously. Alderman Harenda advised this matter would be
forwarded to Common Council.
3. Stop Sign Locations — Bike Paths — Chief Moser recommended that the stop
signs not be moved before the trails as that will create an unsafe approach to the
intersection if vehicles do not stop at the intersection. Alderman Schaumberg had
more information on this item however she was unable to attend the meeting.
Alderman Harenda advised he would talk to Craig Anderson and Dave Simpson
to look at what the actual request is and bring it back to Public Safety next month
for further discussion.
