MINUTES OF MEETING YIELD THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 1994
. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Brian
Misko. Also present were Committee Members Woodard and Sanders.

The Committee reviewed attached report submitted by Building
Inspection Director Chuck Dykstra. The Committee requested
that another letter be mailed to the Muskego Volunteer Fire
Company regarding the request to raze building at S65 W17844
Martin Drive and status of request.
The Committee reviewed proposed Ordinance and Building Fee
changes that were reviewed and recommended for approval by the
Finance Committee.
The Committee discussed status of request to Waukesha County
for installation of walk/don't walk signals and cross walk
signals on the existing traffic signals at the intersection of
CTH L and Lannon Drive. Chairman Misko advised that he has
been in contact with Waukesha County DOT and that in their
correspondence of February 14, 1994, they advise that they were
unable to determine what is meant by "dangerous condition" of
passing lanes; they are scheduling a turning movement count at
the intersection of CTH L and Lannon Drive; and they are again
scheduling a speed study for that area. It was noted that
specifics on the walk/don't walk signals submitted by Chief
Johnson were given to Waukesha County, and that Parks Director
Peter Theis' concerns of the off bike path were covered as the
County has been requested to install walk/don't walk signals on
both sides of Lannon Drive and CTH L.
The Committee reviewed memorandum from Plan Director Matthew G.
Sadowski, along with plans submitted by St. Francis Savings &
Loan, for amended site plan for their property on Lannon
Drive. The Public Works Committee has recommended that Supt.
Loughney work with St. Francis Savings & Loan to come up with
an acceptable design for the catch basin and also review
condition of culverts and determine whether they are
serviceable. Ald. Sanders moved to accept four (4) new "Do Not
Enter" signs, two on each side of pole; and also installation
of a "Wrong Way" sign on east side of Lannon Drive. Seconded
by Ald. Woodard, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for installation of a right turn
arrow on traffic signal at CTH L and Tess Corners Drive. Ald.
Woodard moved to send a request to Waukesha County Department
of Transportation for installation of a turn arrow on traffic
signal for northbound traffic. Seconded by Ald. Sanders,
motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:35 P.M.
