MINUTES OF MEETING HELD THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Misko. Also present were Committee Members Woodard and
Sanders, Mayor De Angelis, Chief Johnson, Building Inspection
Director Chuck Dykstra, Ald. Schneider, Ald. Taube and those
per the attached list.
The Committee discussed the attached report on status of
Citations and Condemnations with Chuck Dykstra.
The Committee further discussed status of Helen Smith property
on Crowbar Road and proposed a timeline to facilitate the
rehabilitation of the house. All community organizations will
be contacted to provide a representative for a committee to be
called MUSKEGO EMERGENCY TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, INC.
There were no updates presented for existing forms and
ordinances.
The Committee further reviewed request for "No Parking" signs
on both sides of Lake Drive with Chief Johnson and affected
property owners. Ald. Woodard moved to recommend establishing
"No Parking" restrictions on Lake Drive, Schubring Drive to cul
• de sac, on both sides of the street; and "No Parking"
restrictions on Pleasant Drive, north side of the street
between Lake Drive and Grove Street (as shown on attached
sketch). Seconded by Ald. Misko, motion carried. It was noted
that the Committee will review the "No Parking" restrictions on
the east side of Lake Drive, between Schubring and Pleasant at
their March meeting.
Ald. Schneider appeared before the Committee to discuss request
for speed limit signs in the Lake Forest Subdivision. Ald.
Woodard moved to recommend that four (4) 25 mph Speed Limit
signs be erected on the following streets:
Prospect Drive, Ancient Oaks, Sanctuary Drive,
and Monterey Drive.
Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. Ald. Schneider will
contact Supt. Loughney to determine exact location.
Under Communications, the Committee discussed the speed limit
signs that Waukesha County Department of Transportation had
advised would be installed reducing the present 50 mph zone
(College to Williams Drive) to 45 mph and reduce the present 40
mph zone (Williams to Janesville Road) to 35 mph. Waukesha
County had advised that the process should take about 8 to 10
• weeks. The Committee requested that a reminder letter be sent
to Waukesha County to request the status of signs.

The Committee reviewed Subdivider's Agreement for the City of
Sussex and determined that the City of Muskego's Subdivider's
Agreement covers all areas of concern.
No action was taken on review of "No Wake" area on Lake Drive.
