PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:01 P.M. by Chairman
Misko. Also present were Committee Members Woodard and
Sanders, Building Inspection Director Chuck Dykstra, Police
Chief Johnson, Ald. Taube and those per the attached list.
The Committee reviewed and approved the minutes of the previous
meeting held Thursday, August 12, 1993.
Chuck Dykstra reviewed with the Committee the attached report
on the status of Condemnations. Ald. Misko moved to have Chuck
contact the Aldermen of the District on his concerns regarding
condition of property on Little Muskego Lake (Tax Key
2189.999). Seconded by Ald. Woodard, motion carried. Chuck
also discussed concerns on property addressed W216 510601
Crowbar Road. The Committee requested further review and to
have additional information supplied for the October meeting.
There were no updates on existing forms and ordinances.
The further review of parking on Park Drive was removed from
• the agenda.
Review of parking on CTH L and Park Drive Intersection and
removed from the agenda.
Mr. Bernhardt Larsen appeared before the Committee to submit a
petition requesting posting of "No Parking" signs on both sides
of Lake Drive, in the area of Lake Access #15 (Lake Drive,
Pleasant View, Schubring and Grove), for the safety and welfare
of the residents in the area, along with a letter from National
School Bus Service, Inc. also requesting "No Parking" on the
above streets. Ald. Sanders moved to direct Chief Johnson to
research traffic and accident history and report back to the
October meeting. Seconded by Ald. Woodard, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Subdivider's Agreement for the Village
of Sussex and will continue review at their October meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.

W163 S7346 Bay Lane - Mr. Giacalone received a citation for
#000245 repeatedly violating #16.20 regarding sump pump
discharge regulations.
Paid forfeiture of $49.00 on 8/10/93.
W183 S8393 Mercury Dr - Delta Group received a citation for
#000222 discharging petroleum based products into the
• roadside ditch.
NOT adequately restored as of 9/2/93.
Adjourned till September 18th.

Keiser Lane - Mr. Senger received a citation for keeping more
#000246 livestock on his property than zoning allows.
Site currently in COMPLIANCE.
Agreed to stipulation with forfeiture of $201.00
which is due by October 13,1993.
