MINUTES OF MEETING HELD THURSDAY, JULY 15, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:04 P.M. by Chairman Brian R.
Misko. Also present were Committee Members Woodard and Sanders,
Mayor De Angelis, Building Inspection Director Chuck Dykstra, and
those per the attached list.
The Committee reviewed minutes of June 10, 1993 and placed on file.
The Committee reviewed the attached report on Citations and
Condemnations with Chuck Dykstra.
There were no updated forms or proposed ordinance changes.
The Committee reviewed Chief Johnson's report, dated June 18,
1993, on CTH "L" (Janesville Road) & Tess Corners Drive
intersection which stated that he had investigated the possibility
of peak time "No Parking" in front of certain Tess Corners area
businesses; namely, Prestige Auto, Country Trader and Casanova's
Marine; in lieu of complete "No Parking" zones to facilitate the
implementation of on -demand left turn lanes on Janesville Road at
Tess Corners Drive. His memorandum details the reasons that it
cannot be done safely. Ald. Sanders moved to support Resolution
#65-93, as adopted, subject to a six month review. Seconded by
Ald. Woodard, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Chief Johnson's memorandum of June 25,
1993, regarding request for traffic control at the intersection of
Lannon & Haven which indicated that speed was not a problem. The
Committee determined that nothing would be done at the present
time.
The Committee reviewed request that Chief Johnson received from
Mr. Joe Campbell, S73 W19379 Lochcrest Boulevard, for a "Caution -
Wheelchair" sign to be posted on Lochcrest Boulevard, west of his
home. Ald. Sanders moved to approve request. Seconded by Ald.
Misko, motion carried. The sign should be placed about 200 feet
west of S73 W19379 Lochcrest Boulevard; only one sign is needed.
