PSM19921105• PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 5, 1992 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Simmons. Also present were Committee Members Sanders and Misko, Mayor Salentine, Police Chief Johnson, Building Inspection Director Chuck Dykstra and those per the attached list. The Committee reviewed the Public Safety Committee minutes of the meeting of October 8, 1992, and placed on file. Chuck Dykstra reviewed with the Committee the attached report on condemnations and citations. The Committee discussed establishing grades. Ald. Misko moved to have the Building Department establish the grade elevation for houses on lots that do not have grades established by a master site grading plan. If agreement cannot be reached with the Building Department, the applicant can request that the City Engineer review and provide a grade determination, at the applicant's expense. A traffic survey for Oak Hill Drive was reviewed and Ald. Misko moved to recommend that speed limit remain at 25 mph. Seconded by Ald. Simmons, motion carried. The Committee reviewed correspondence from Lt. Daley regarding traffic survey on Haven Drive. Ald. Misko moved to recommend the following: Stop Signs - Northbound Joel Drive Southbound Joel Drive Westbound Haven Drive Speed Limit Signs - 25 mph sign on Lannon Drive - 25 mph sign on Brennen Drive at Haven Drive at Haven Drive at Brennen Drive westbound Haven Dr eastbound Haven Dr near FILT.f9 Slow Children Signs - Four (4) signs to be spaced evenly on Haven Drive Yield Sign - On Haven court at Haven Drive Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed with Chief Johnson his request for an extension of the "No Parking" zone on College Avenue, west of Martin Drive. Ald. Sanders moved to send request to Waukesha County. Seconded by Ald. Misko, motion carried.
