PSM19920709PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 9, 1992 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Acting Chairman Sanders. Also present were Committee Member Misko, Mayor Salentine, Chief Johnson, Building Inspection Director Chuck Dykstra, Ald. Schneider and those per the attached list. The Committee reviewed the Public Safety Committee minutes of June 4, 1992, and placed on file. Chuck Dykstra presented the attached report on condemnations and citations. Ald. Misko requested a ninety (90) day extension for Ms. Martin to remove her one smaller barn at property addressed S65 W17844 Martin Drive. Ald. Misko moved to approve request. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. No new forms or ordinances were discussed. The Committee further discussed request for stop sign on Windsor Road and Saroyan Road and recommends that no action be taken with respect to the placement of stop sign or yield at the intersection of Windsor and Saroyan Road. Ald. Schneider appeared before the Committee to discuss petition received to change weight limit on Shagbark Lane. Ald. Misko moved to direct Supt. Loughney to install "No Trucking" signs on each end of Shagbark Lane. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed request for stop sign at Bridgeport & Seafarer Pass (Lake Point Estates Subdivision) and recommended that no action be taken with respect to the placement of a stop sign or yield at that intersection. The Committee reviewed letter from Waukesha County Department of Transportation regarding a request that the City received from the National School Bus Service for a turning arrow on traffic signal at intersection of CTH L and Tess Corners Drive. The Department of Transportation indicates that they will schedule a turning movement count to enable them to evaluate the left turn volume and intend to do this accounting after school has reopened in the Fall to account for the highest traffic volume. TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE JULY 9, 1992 CITATIONS S83 W18550 Saturn Drive (A-1 Storage) The tires have been removed. An occupancy permit has been issued. The court case was adjourned until June 6. A-1 was assessed $746 in fines due July 29, which have not been paid yet. W181 59134 Parker Drive (Loebel) Mr. Loebel paid $100 on June 22. Inspections were made on July 1, July 2, and July 7. While some storage is still taking place, it appears that the manufacturing operation has been removed. W171 57592 Lannon Drive (Dan Barker) Two citations were issued to Mr. Barker in May for work done at this address. One was for construction not conforming to approved plans. The second citation was issued for the removal of stop work order card and continuation of construction disregarding stop work order. Each citation carries a fine of $199, due by July 29. These fines have not been paid as of this date. • CONDEMNATIONS W195 56776 Hillendale Drive (Froelich) A phone conversation with Attorney Vollmar on July 7, 1992 produced no new information. He stated he would get a definite closing date and get back to me late July 7 or July 8. As of July 9, I had still not been contacted by Attorney Vollmar. A call placed to him on July 9, 1992 revealed that he had no new information regarding this matter.
