MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 8, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Taube.
Also present were Committee Members Patterson and Simmons, Chief
Johnson, G. P. Lee and those per the attached list.
The Committee reviewed the attached report on Condemnations with
G. P. Lee.
The Committee continued discussion on fencing to screen cars.
Chief Johnson expressed concern about fencing to hide junk cars
and indicated that an ordinance change will be required in order
to enforce law.
There was further discussion on request for "Slow -Children
Present" sign which was deferred from last meeting. Mr. Ric
Reimer, W182 S6565 Garnet Drive, presented map and letter
concerning speeding problem. Ald. Patterson moved to direct
Superintendent Loughney to post larger "Dead End" and "No Lake
Access" signs at the entrance to Garnet Drive. Seconded by Ald.
Simmons, motion carried. The Committee also requests that the
police talk to neighbors about speeding.
iA request for "Slow -Children Present" sign and stop light in
front of Muskego Elementary School was tabled until principal of
Muskego Elementary School can do further research.
The Committee reviewed request for installation of a stop sign at
intersection of Prospect Drive & Westlyn Drive. Ald. H. Sanders
has been requested to pursue a two-way stop sign. Chief Johnson
will check the history of the intersection and will report back
at the next meeting.
A discussion on leaf burning ordinance was tabled.
The Committee reviewed a request for a street light at
intersection of Racine and entrance to Industrial Park received
from Mr. Rudolph Raab. Ald. Patterson moved to direct G. P. Lee
to contact the Electric Company to make arrangements for the
installation of a street light on Saturn Drive, at the entrance
to the Industrial Park, off of Racine Avenue. The funds will be
taken from the Industrial Park Revenue account.
The Committee reviewed request for the installation of a stop
sign at the intersection of Emerson and Hawthorne. Chief Johnson
will spot additional patrol during the next thirty (30) days and
this item will be reviewed at the next meeting.

5100 W13475 Loomis Road (Tesch)
Daily inspections continue to be made. Some clean up has taken
place. A pick-up truck that was filled with junk has been
emptied and a pile of junk directly behind the garage has been
removed. This took place in October. The amount of $67.00
was received by our department for court fines on September 18,
1990. Court fines to this date total $4,891. Jerry went out
on inspection today.
W143 S6958 Belmont Drive (Radtke)
A citation was issued October 17, 1990 for open storage of junk.
The court date was set for October 27, 1990. According to the
Police Department, Mr. Radtke's son presented a letter stating
that Mr. Radtke could not appear in court on that day. The
judge set a pretrial date of December 15, 1990 at 8:00.

Jerry requeste con emnation orders be prepared by Atty. Macy
on October 12, 1990. Attorney Macy contacted Jerry on
October 17, 1990 stating he will begin process following the
receipt of the necessary title information. On November 7,
1990 our department received the title information and forwarded
it to Attorney Macy.
stic Drive - Craig Lawdanski Cot
WhenPlanning Commission approved land division in the N.E.
1/4 of Section 15 for Craig Lawdanski, it was a condition that
the six cottages be removed. Mr. Lawdanski posted a $1,000 bond
so that the certified survey maps could be recorded and has
appeared before the Planning Commission requesting that two of
the cottages remain until spring. The area was completely fenced
in. One cottage would be used for storage and another for
someone to be living in the area to prevent vandalism and theft.
There is now a large dwelling under construction and the Planning
Commission stated that the cottages would not cause a problem and
extended the deadline for the cottages to be removed and the cash
bond will remain.

S79 W16099 Bay Lane Place (Walter Lawdanski Cottage)
Craig Lawdanski had appeared before the Board of Appeals to
request a 12 x 16 storage shed to be placed on his folks'
property. The Board of Appeals granted the necessary variance
and at the hearing, Craig stated that the shed would be used for
storage of items that would be removed from his folks' house
while it is being razed and prior to the construction of a
new home on the property. As of today's date, no permit has been
issued for the 12 x 16 storage shed.
S94 W14580 Groveway Lane (Hampel)
As stated at the last meeting, the building has collapsed and
will again ask Alderman Dumke to negotiate with the owners to
clean up the remains.
OTHER LETTERS/INSPECTIONS
W179 56729 Muske o Drive (Olson)
A ter numerous complaints were received, inspections were made of
this property. It was noted that there was no running water and
that water was being pumped from a well through a garden hose.
An electrical cord was exposed as well. Jerry attempted to
contact the property owner', but no response was received.
Jerry contacted the Waukesha County Health Dept. and was told
they will contact the DNR about this matter.
