MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 5, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Chairman Taube.
Also present were Committee Member Patterson, Mayor Salentine,
Steve Tietz (Community Newspapers) and Arlene Abel (Checker's
Pizza).
The Committee reviewed the following report on condemnations
supplied by G. P. Lee:
W142 S8028 Durham Drive (Kurer) Mr. Kurer appeared
at Plan Commission on June 19, 1990, to clarify
Resolution #39-89. All Citations dismissed at
Court Hearing of 6/30/90.
W181 S9234 Parker Drive (Loebel) Manufacturing in
residential district. Citation written - Court
date set for the 29th of September, 1990.
S110 W20544 S. Denoon (Benke) Building in process
of being to en own. Inspection scheduled for July
18, 1990.
• W172 S75134 Center Drive (Fischer) Duplex will be
down sometime between July 1 and August 1, 1990.
Inspection scheduled for August 2, 1990.
The Committee discussed the traffic problem on Highway L &
Pioneer Drive with, Arlene Abel, owner of Checker's Pizza, who
voiced concern over danger of right-hand turns (eastbound on
Highway L) into their driveway. The Committee requests that
Chief Johnson review area and report back to Committee.
The Committee discussed turning lane congestion at the corner of
Martin Drive and Highway L and requests that the Building
Inspection Department review Plan Commission minutes relating to
closing of Basse's driveway at intersection. The Committee also
requests that a letter be sent to Waukesha County to review
intersection for safety and also to have Waukesha County review
shadow lanes and wide radius to driveway at new entrance to
Basse's, east on Highway L (north side).
The meeting adjourned at 8:55 P.M.
