The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by Chairman Taube.
Also present were Committee Members D. Sanders and Patterson,
Ald. Simmons, Mayor Salentine, G. P. Lee and those per the
attached list.
The Committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and
placed on file.
The Committee reviewed with G. P. Lee the following
condemnations:

Matter to be on 4/17/90 Plan Commission Agenda
S74 W17314 Lake Drive
On April 5, 1990, Attorney Macy was advised
that an extension of time until the end of
April was given to Rudy Kotar to remove the
building and clean the lot.
• W142 S8028 Durham Drive (Kurer)
Pictures were taken on 4/6/90 and sent to
Attorney Macy for his opinion regarding
license.
Committee determined that they will await
Court decision. Attorney Molter will be
asked for an opinion on the salvage business
(tire storage).
S81 W18475 Gemini Drive
Pictures taken on 3/21/90. G. P. Lee compiled
list noting items such as logs, hay rake,
equipment trailer, pallets, tires, barrels,
gas tank, and other miscellaneous junk.
Inspection pictures taken by G. P. Lee again on
4/16/90 - all cleaned up.

and see if owner is back in town.

Janesville Road - The building on the Harold DeBack
property has been razed and the area cleaned up.
The Committee reviewed the clay extraction restoration for the
Lekfield DeBack property and noted that Phase III is to be
completed by September 22, 1990.
Mr. Phil Dibb reviewed the following sections of the Fire Prevent
Code:
Article A. General Provisions, for the Fire Prevention Code,
which relate to multi requirements and fire walls.
Article B, Sprinkler Protection, multi common and private
entrances, remodeling and expansion requirements were
discussed. Fire protection other than water explained.
Article C. Requirements for detection were discussed,
focusing on multi residential. Monitoring was explained along
with the differences between smoke and heat detectors.
The Committee discussed street lighting. Ald. Patterson moved to
• go with plan B, where the Developer pays the cost, plus 10% for
future additional fees. Seconded by Ald. D. Sanders, motion
carried.
The meeting adjourned at 10:50 P.M.
