• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 7, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 7:08 P.M. by Chairman Taube.
Also present were Committee Members D. Sanders and Patterson,
Police Chief Johnson, Helen Andersen and Steve Tietz.
The Committee reviewed condemnation report supplied by G. P. Lee
and made the following determinations:

Committee agreed to allow 9 months to level the barn
and adjacent outbuildings.

Committee will wait for March meeting to see results
of recent letters sent by G. P. Lee.

Committee determined that all necessary steps be taken
to accomplish razing of building.

Deferred action to see results of reinspection
scheduled for February 18, 1990.
Mrs. Helen Andersen appeared before the Committee to voice
concern with parking on Bay Lane. She feels that a safety hazard
exists and is concerned with emergency vehicles not being able to
proceed. The Committee stressed that the Police Department
should be contacted in the case of a safety hazard. The
Committee deferred action at this time.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from City Clerk regarding
requests she has received to increase the number of parking
spaces available for the handicapped in front of City Hall. Ald.
Patterson moved to recommend that the Public Works Department
mark the parking spot on the east side of the front walk to
denote handicapped parking only.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
