Owner looking for contractor to tear building down.
It is thought to be too close to burn down. The
Committee suggested that possibly the City could tear
down and bill the property owner. The Committee
requests Superintendent Loughney to provide cost
estimate for City to tear down building.
Ms. Jeanette M. Heckert appeared before the Committee to request
that West Tower Drive be changed to Ackerman Drive. The
Committee denied request stating that renaming a City Street
could become too involved, but suggested that possibly a path
could be constructed between the Historical Society and Horn
Field and a memorial placque could be placed at the entrance to
the path. The Committee requests that Superintendent Loughney
provide a cost estimate for crushed stone needed for the path and
advise the required width of the path. The path is approximately
4k 450 ft. long.
