MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 13, 1986
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Taube at 7:05 P.M.
Also present were Committee Member Sanders, Lt. John Daley,
Building Inspector G. P. Lee and Supt. Bertram. Ald. Penovich
was absent.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from the Police Department
regarding suggested speed limits on Henneberry Drive and Parker
Drive. Ald. Sanders moved to recommend the following:
A 35 mph speed limit sign be posted on Parker Drive
east of Racine Avenue.
A 45 mph speed limit sign be posted on Henneberry
Drive.
A 45 mph speed limit sign be posted on Parker Drive
west of Racine Ave.
A yellow 15 mph advisory sign be posted at the north
90' curve along with a "curve" sign on Parker Drive
east of Racine Avenue.
A yellow 20 mph advisory sign be posted at the south
90° curve along with a "curve" sign on Parker Drive
Aleast of Racine Avenue.
Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
Ald. Taube moved to recommend a "No Parking" sign be placed on
the east side of Pioneer Drive at the intersection of Janesville
Road, north of Gerth Heating building to expedite the flow of
traffic at that intersection.
After hearing a physical description of a small dwelling at S86
W13971 Priegel Drive by Building Inspector G. P. Lee, the
Committee agreed that the building should be condemned and that
Waukesha County, who may have a financial interest in this
property, be so notified of our condemnation action.
Ald. Taube moved to recommend installation of a street light at
the southwest corner of College Avenue and College Court.
Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried.
Discussion on a possible parking problem on Cornell Circle was
deferred.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
