MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 14, 1986
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Taube at 7:05 P.M.
Also present were Committee Member Penovich, Ald. DeAngelis, Ald.
Dumke, Chief Johnson, Mayor Salentine and those per the attached
list.
The Committee discussed problems with parking of truck on private
property with Mr. Zinski. Ald. Taube moved'to request that Mayor
Salentine discuss matter with City Attorney and report back to
the Committee. The Committee also requests that Rules, Laws &
Ordiinance review the ordinance. Seconded by Ald. Penovich,
motion carried.
The Committee reviewed proposed condemnation with Mr. & Mrs. Ron
Hlavinka in regards to property at S73 W16650 Janesville Road.
Mr. Hlavinka stated that financial deal pertaining to property
had fallen through and that the City could proceed with
condemnation.
The Committee discussed condemnation of Ruby Drive garage with
Building Inspector Lee. Building Inspector Lee stated that he is
waiting correspondence from City Attorney.
• Proposed condemnation of the Olson property was discussed with
Building Inspector Lee. An inspection will be made on May 18 to
see if requirements have been met.
The Committee discussed proposed Snowmobiling Ordinance which
gives the Police Department authority to enforce state statutes
through City ordinance. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend Council
approval. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed supplying as-builts for water mains with
Building Inspector Lee. Ald. Penovich moved to proceed with
requiring as-builts for Subdivisions served by Community Wells or
Municipal Water. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed status of Bayside Tavern. Ald. Penovich
moved to direct Building Inspector Lee to submit list of what
has to be repaired to Mr. Budish. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed proposed condemnation of S83 W13971
Priegel Drive with Building Inspector Lee and Ald. Dumke. Ald.
Dumke will discuss voluntary removal of building with owner and
letter stating possible condemnation will be sent to owner by
Building Inspector.
. The Committee discussed condemnation of shed on Union Church Road
(Gegoy). Building Inspector Lee stated that property owner has
agreed to allow Fire Department to burn the shed.

The Committee discussed agreement with HAWS for 1986. Ald.
Penovich moved to recommend Council approval. Seconded by Ald.
Taube, motion carried.
The Committee discussed request to recommend to Waukesha County a
speed reduction on Janesville Road from Bay Lane to Lannon from 40
mph to 35 mph. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend Council
approval. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from Police Chief regarding
Weight Limitation Enforcement of April 10, 1986 and placed on
file.
The meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
