PSM19850725. PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 25, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nilsson at 7:01
P.M. Also present were Committee Members Penovich and Taube,
Ald. Hilt, Chief Johnson and Lt. Daley.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on
file.
The Committee discussed hazard buoys on Little Muskego Lake with
Ald. Taube who is requesting that reflective tape be put on a
pipe sticking up in the lake and that two hazard buoys be
purchased and placed near sand bar around Georges Island. Supt.
Bertram has purchased the tape. Ald. Penovich moved to authorize
Chief Johnson to purchase two buoys at $69.00 each. Seconded by
Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee discussed request for "No Parking" signs on Kristin
'Drive. Ald. Taube stated that residents of area are concerned
with parking for William's Supper Club and the possible
hinderance to emergency vehicles. Ald. Taube moved to have "No
Parking" signs placed on the east side of Kristin Drive between
St. Leonards and Highway 24. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion
. carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:17 P.M.
