PSM19850516C� PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 16, 1985 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nilsson at 7:00 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Penovich, Hilt and Taube, Ald. Tomczyk, Jill Fitzgerald and Shirley Golla. The Committee discussed "No Parking" signs on Martin Drive. Ald. Nilsson moved to install "No Parking" signs on the south side of Martin Drive between Hardtke and the Murphy property. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. The Committee discussed parking on Ruby Drive. Ald. Tomczyk will talk to neighbors and report at next meeting. The Committee discussed the State turnover of Highway 24. No recommendation made. The Committee discussed the City's policy on street lights. The Finance Committee's minutes of May 8, 1985 were reviewed which state that the City will adhere to its present policy which is to place streets lights only at entrances to subdivisions and at major intersections. The Committee reviewed the request for street lights at Emerson & Lowell. Ald. Taube moved to deny request. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. The Committee reviewed request of Mrs. Cindy Buske for a "Children At Play" sign to be installed on Wildwood Drive. Ald. Hilt will make a study and report at next meeting. A letter from Robert J. Bagley, 1514 So. 91st Street, West Allis was read regarding the placement of the Water Bugs Ski Jump on Little Muskego Lake. He is concerned that the placement has been in the midst of of one of the better fishing spots on the lake. The meeting adjourned at 7:32 P.M. ca Respectfully submitted, Ald. David Taube Secretary
