PSM198504180 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 18, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nilsson at 7:00
P.M. Also present were Committee Members Penovich and Taube,
Ald. Tomczyk and Ald. Hilt.
The Committee discussed trailer parking on Idle Isle. Ald.
Penovich moved to install no parking signs on both sides of Ranch
Drive and the south side of Martin Drive between Hardtke and
Lentini for cars with trailers. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed request for street lights on Longfellow &
Kipling and Saroyan & Kipling. The Committee requests that the
Finance Committee look into changing policy for allowing street
lights in locations other than major intersections..
The Committee reviewed request received from Lt. Johnson Not -al
recommending the placement of "No Parking" signs on the str� and
west side of Ruby Drive. Ald. Nilsson moved for adoption.
Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee reveiwed request of Frank Switala, Jr. for stop
signs, speed limit signs and postings on Mystic Drive. Ald.
Penovich moved to install stop sign on Rogers at the intersection
of Mystic and to install a caution sign south of the Inter -Urban
on Mystic. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the HAWS agreement and recommended Council
approval.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 P.M.
