MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 3, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nilsson at 7:00
P.M. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and Dumke and
Lt. Johnson.
The committee reviewed the minutes of the November meeting, and
directed the Public Works Department to install either a
guardrail or posts on the Drenzek property. Superintendent
Bertram has received a quote from Bark River Culvert Company.
Ald. Hilt discussed the disabled parking in Parkland Mall. Lt.
Johnson discussed the proper sign to be installed and will meet
with the the owners of Parkland Mall to discuss disabled
parking and report back to the Safety Committee.
The Committee discussed the turning lane for Racine Avenue and
Kelsey Drive. The Committee recommended that the Council
request Waukesha County Transportation Department to install a
deacceleration lane on Racine Avenue (southbound) at the
intersection with Kelsey Drive.
The Committee discussed readvertising for a Humane Officer. It
was recommended that Finance Committee determine the salary and
permanent location for keeping animals and advertise for a
Humane Officer.
The Committee tabled the discussion on No Parking Request on
Cornell Circle.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
