MINUTES OF MEETING HELD

The meeting was called to order at
Colburn. Also
7.00 P.M. by Chairman
present were
Committee
Members Gaetzke and
Tomczyk, Aid. Penovich
and Harry
Udvare.
The Committee discussed the possibility of hiring a person
on an off -hours basis. Chairman Colburn agreed to contact
H.A.W.S. to see what the cost would be to provide a service
to the City. Presently the Muskego Police Department must
assume the responsibility.
The Committee discussed the possibility of traffic lights on
Tess Corners Drive & Highway 24, Chief Scholz gave the
Committee a list of accidents that have occurred on that
intersection. This constituted the Committee's feelings
that a traffic signal would have eliminated these accidents.
Mr. Harry Udvare stated that Action In,:Muskego (AIM) supported the
Committee's feelings and would do whatever is possible to
assist the Committee. Chairman Colburn advised the Committee
he would contact John White of the Department of Transportation
' to get another traffic count.
The Committee discussed the requirement for Proof of Rabies
vaccination to obtain Dog License. The Committee recommended
updating Chapter 13:01 to require proof of vaccination before
issuance of license.
The Committee discussed traffic on Tess Corners Drive. Aid.
Penovich advised the Committee of vehicles driving at excessive
speeds in an area where school children are being picked up by
school buses. Chairman Colburn advised the Committee that he
would investigate all possibilities to find a solution.
The Committee discussed placement of a sign on Agate Drive,
"Slow -Deaf Children". Aid. Gaetzke moved to have signs placed
advising that deaf children are present. Seconded by Aid.
Tomczyk, motion carried.
The Committee discussed the placement of a "one-way" sign at
entrance to Ruby Drive. Aid. Tomczyk moved for placement of
two "one-way signs at entrance and exit signs showing "wrong way"
. Seconded by Aid. Gaetzke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed minutes of previous meeting.
• Aid. Tomczyk moved to adjourn at 8.05 P.M. Seconded by Aid.
Gaetzke, motion carried.
