at their parent's request. Chief Scholz explained the difficulty of
obtaining readable prints for children. The committee noted the

Chairman Colburn reported on the status of request for traffic
lights at the intersection of S.T.H. 24 and Lannon Drive. The
State Department of Transportation is still rejecting our request
is for these lights based upon their traffic count.
Police Chief Scholz discussed Resolution #3-83 (County=Wide Law
Enforcement Information System) which was referred to the Safety
Committee from the Common Council meeting held 1/11/83.) Chief
Scholz feels that passage of this resolution would be beneficial
to Muskego regarding the sharing of information, using a common
Waukesha County computer, etc. Passage of this resolution would not
cost the city any money and it would show that the City of Muskego
would be interested in the establishment of a sharing system. The
committee recommends the Council pass this resolution.
Ald. Penovich discussed the traffic problem on Lawndale Drive
in the Glenbrook Subdivision. Traffic uses Lawndale Dr. as a
shortcut between College Avenue and S.T.H. 24. Some of the traffic
ends up on Lawndale Place which is a dead end. The committee
requests Supt. Bertram install a "DEAD-END" sign on Lawndale Dr.
near Lawndale Place.
• The committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 9:55 P.M.
