PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 19, 1981
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 P.M by Chairman Knudsen.
Also present were Committee Members Steinberg and Van Lanen, Mayor
Gottfried and those persons as per the attached list.
Mr Richard Anderly and Mrs Karen Klein presented their concerns
regarding the dredging disposal sites. Chairman Knudsen suggested
this matter he referred to the Public Nelfare Committee
The committee discussed the ingress and egress to Muskego Beer
Depot The matter was referred back to Plan Commission with the
suggestion that additional curbing along center Dr. not be required
The Safety Committee re -affirmed its decision to have a street
light installed at the intersection of Westwood Drive and St.
Leunard's Drive.
A communication from St Leonard's Building and Grounds Committee
was receiveed and acknowledged
• The committee discussed the possible development of bike trails
in the city - the committee noted that a bike committee was
ostensibly formed four years ago.
A copy of a communication from Mayor Gottfried directed to the
Wisconsin Department of Transportation regarding passing lanes
on S.T.H. 24 at Lakes Parkway was reviewed.
Several copies of correspondence from Building Inspection Office
was reviewed.
Rescue Reports from the Tess Corners Fire Department were received
and placed on file.
Ald. Steinberg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:21 P.M.
