MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 22, 1981
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Knudsen at 7:05 P.M.
Also present were Committee Members Steinberg and Van Lanen, Mayor
Gottfried and those persons as per the attached list.
One of the visitors expressed concern to the committee regarding
damages being done to property by snowmobiles.
The committee acknowledged a communication from Police Chief Scholz
regarding his recent investigation of charges of harassment and
questions of methods of surveillance.
The committee discussed with Mrs. Feldman problems being exper-
ienced with co-ordinating services between themselves, HAWS and
the police department. A motion was made and seconded to retain
stray dogs at the police station for several hours until the proper
persons can be reached. Motion carried unanimously.
The committee recommends to the Finance Committee that two large
folding retaining cages be purchased to be used for this purpose.
• Ald. Van Lanen moved to recommend Council approval of the instal-
lation of a street light at the intersection of Bay Lane and Vine
Street Seconded by Ald Knudsen. Motion carried..
Mr. Rocke and Mr. Fischer will be invited to the next meeting to
discuss surveillance of ingress and egress routes to the Muskego
Beer and Liquor Mart.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and reviewed.
Ald Knudsen moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Steinberg Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M
