MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 18, 1980
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Knudsen.
Also present were Committee Members Steinberg, Van Lanen, Chief Scholz,
Building Inspector Lee. Supt. Bertram and Mr. Gayheart Rocks.
The Muskego Beer and Liquor parking entrance was discussed and
deferred until observation of entrance is monitored on Friday.
December 19, 1980. Supt. Bertram indicated crosswalk markings
will be installed in early spring A yellow plastic stripping
for crusswalks will be explored.
Ald. Knudsen requested any future communications between himself
and Mrs. Feldman include the Safety Committee in view of the fact
that this is their jurisdiction. Procedures for contacting Mrs.
Feldman were discussed and it was decided that Mrs. Feldman is
to appear at the next meeting.
The minutes of the 11/13/80 meeting were read and placed on file.
Ald. Van Lanen moved to recommend approval of the Common Council
of contract for rescue service, the fire protection contract with
• Teas Corners Volunteer Fire Department for 1981 and for the
approval of fire protection contract with liuskego Volunteer Fire
Company for 1981. Seconded by Ald. Knudsen. Motion carried.
Correspondence from Building Inspection Department, Tess Corners
Volunteer Fire Department and Attorney Patrick Jennings were
placed on file.
The committee again asked for an explanation of Ald. Knudsen's
motion at the 7/24/80 meeting concerning the construction of a
passing lane at Janesville Rd and Lakes Parkway (north side of
Janesville Rd.)
Ald. Van Lanen moved to recommend installation of a street light
at the intersection of St Leonards Dr. and Westwood Dr. which is
an egress to Kristin Downs Subdivision. Seconded by Ald. Knudsen.
Motion carried.
Ald. Knudsen moved to recommend installation of a street light
at the intersection of Hillendale Dr. and Lakeview Dr., which is
also the entrance to a subdivision. Seconded by Aid Van Lanen.
Motion carried unanimously.
Chief Scholz was requested by Ald Knudsen to investigate harrassment
and/or surveillance by police officers and report back to committee.
Ald. Steinberg moved for adjournment. Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen.
. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
