advertising for a Humane Officer who can provide service similar to
what the city now has vs. pursuing the possible use of the Humane
Animal Welfare Society in Waukesha. Ald. Van Lanen moved to
recommend to the Common Council that the city advertise for a
Humane Officer with the following qualifications: (1) must have
available space and kennels to adequately house animals, (2) be able
to pick up unwanted and stray animals when required, (3), the
availability and ability to follow state statutes. Seconded by

of one month.

• appear at the Safety Committee Meeting on May 9th.
The minutes of thet previous meeting were reviewed and placed on
file.

light on the northwest corner of Pleasant View Drive and Lake
Drive. Discussion took place regarding this request. As it has
been the city's policy not to install street lights on interior
streets the committee requested Mayor Gottfried to contact the
individual requesting the street light advising him of that policy.

Company to conduct a study of street lights from Poe's Place to
Tess Corners Drive on S.T.H. 24.
