PSM19750522PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 22, 1975 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Schaumberg, Also present were Aldermen Colburn and Wallner and Mayor Gottfried. The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file. Tess Corners Rescue Reports from 3/25/75 to 5/13/75 were reviewed and placed on file. The committee reviewed the Humane Officer Report for the month of April. The committee discussed the placement of "Stop" signs at the intersection of Kelsey Drive and Muskego Dam Road, Ald. Wallner moved to recommend Council approval of the installation of a "Stop" sign on the southeast corner and the northwest corner of Kelsey Drive and Muskego Dam Road. Seconded by Ald. Colburn, motion carried. The committee to invite the waterpatrolmen to the next meeting to discuss their responsibilities and duties. Bill Masterson will also be invited to discuss his operation of paddle boats. •The Safety Committee recommends that the Public Works Department place hazard buoys on "Grass Island" and "Georg's Island". • The Public Safety Committee acknowledged receipt of a communication from the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department in which they advise the city that no charge will be made to the city fo: rescue calls for all members of the Muskego and Tess Corners Fire Departments and their families. The Safety Committee recommends to the Public Works Committee that a "No thru Street" sign be installed at the entrance to Fennimore Court from Fennimore Lane. Ald.
