• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 22, 1974
The meeting was called to order at 8:08 P.M. Present were Chairman Ford,
Aldermen Knudsen, Wallner and Foldy, Police Chief Kraus and Mayor
Gottfried.
Mrs. Hackbarth and Mrs. Ahles appeared at the meeting in regard to
•the Brentwood - Catalina intersection. Ald. Knudsen read the police
survey report. Ald. Ford moved to recommend. Council approval of the
installation of a 4-way "Stop" sign at the intersection of Brentwood Dr.
and Catalina Drive. The "stop" sign to remain at least until the end
of summer on a trial basis. Seconded. by Ald. Wallner, motion carried.
Ald. Ford movedto recommend to Common Council the adoption of a
resolution requesting County Highway Dept. to install a shadow lane on
the south side of S.T.H. 24 as per Police Dept. recommendation dated.
July 20, 1974. Seconded by Ald. Wallner, motion carried.
Ald. Wallner reported that the parking lot at Jaraczewski's tavern
located at the corner of Woods Road. and Racine Ave. presents a blind
spot when cars park too near the corner. Chief Kraus will observe the
area and report back to the committee.
• The committee reviewed the Humane Officer's Report from 6/1/74 to 6/30/74.

The meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
