MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 13, 1973
The meeting was called to order at 7:06 P.M. by Chairman Foldy. Also
present were Aldermen Czarnecki, Wallner and Police Chief Kraus.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The committee discussed the possibility of Chief Kraus's proposal
of a new Police Department building.
The committee is awaiting an opinion from City Attorney Buckley as
it relates to the revision of the rank structure of the Muskego
Police Department.
The committee is recommending to the Public Works Committee that
a "stop" or "yield" sign be placed at both entrances of the city hall -
library parking area.

MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 130 1973
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM by Chairman Foldy. Also present
were Aldermen Czarnecki, Wallner and Knudsen, Mayor Gottfried and Police Chief
Kraus.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The committee discussed the Vine St. and Beliview Dr. vision complaint. Chief
Kraus to review and make recommendation.
Mayor Gottfried to correspond with Wisconsin Electric Power Co. regarding a
streetlight at the corner of Highway 1100" and Durham Drive.
A request for a stop sign at Kipling Dr. and Camilla Dr. was reviewed. It was
the consensus of opinion of the committee that a "Yield" sign would be adequate
for that location.
The committee discussed a request for overnight parking in the Fountainwood area.
The committee agreed that overnight parking would not be feasible.
• Aid. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval of the proposed rank structure
of the Muskego Police Dept. Seconded by Aid. Wallner. Motion carried.
Aid. Wallner moved to recommend that the Capital Budget Committee include ap—
proximately $250,000.00 in the 1975 capital budget for a New Police Dept.
building. Seconded by Aid. Czarnecki, motion carried.
Chief Kraus to contact the Dept, of Natural Resources regarding the possibility
of any State Aid for snowmobile patrolling.
The committee reviewed forty five (45) Humane Officer Reports from II/I/73 to
12/29/73. Same placed on file.
Aid. Foldy moved to adjourn, seconded by Aid. Wallner, motion carried. The
meeting adjourned at 8:36 PM.
