• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 30, 1973
• The meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M. by Chairman Foldy. Also
present were Aldermen Czarnecki, Wallner and Mayor Gottfried. Police
Chief Kraus was also present.
• The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
As per recommendation of the Police Department, Ald. Czarnecki moved
to recommend Council approval of the following "No Parking" restrictions:
On the north side of Janesville Rd. 15 feet west of
Tess Corners Drive.
On the south side of Janesville Rd. 30 feet west of
Tess Corners Dr.
On the north side of Janesville Rd. 30 feet east of
Tess Corners Dr.
On the south side of Janesville Rd. 35 feet west of
Westwood Drive
Motion seconded by Ald. Wallner and carried.
Ald. Foldy moved to recommend Council approval of the placement of
25 mph speed limit signs on Pleasant View, Grove St. North Lane and
South Lane. Seconded by Ald. Czarnecki, motion carried.
Discussion was held relative to the effectiveness of the lake patrol
during the summer of 1973. Chief Kraus to furnish a complete report.
Chief Kraus will provide the committee with information regarding the
possibility of leasing squad cars rather than purchasing them.
The committee reaffirmed its support of the C.S.O. Project (Community
Service Officers).
The committee reviewed Rescue Reports from 9/18/73 to 10/17/73. Twenty
• six (26) reports were approved for payment and billing and three (3)
for payment only.

seconded by Ald. Czarnecki, motion carried.
