• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON JULY 13, 1972
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M. by Chairman Sapp. Also
present were Aldermen DeBack,and Ford, Mayor Gottfried and Police Chief
Kraus.
Ald. Ford moved, as seconded by Ald. DeBack, that the Public Safety
Committee direct the Public Works Superintendent to install one picto-
-40 graph sign "Slow Children" on Lochcrest Blvd. just east of Racine Avenue
for eastbound traffic on Lochcrest. Motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved that the Public Safety Committee instruct the Public
Works Superintendent to install a pictograph sign "Slow Children" sign
at each end of Gold Drive. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
Ald. Ford moved to direct the Public Works Superintendent to install a
"Slow Children" sign at the north end of Garnet Drive. Seconded by
Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Citizens in the area of Bay Lane School have complained about the "Yield"
sign installed at the intersection of Hilltop and Bay Lane and also the
possibility of making Bay Lane a through city street. No action was
40 taken.
The Committee reviewed the draft of the ordinance regulating parades. Ald.
Sapp moved to refer to Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee with recommendation -
for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
A request for stop and go lights at the intersection of Janesville Rd.
and Lannon Drive was read and placed on file. Police Dept. will make
study.
Ald. Ford indicated that Mr. Jack Frey and Harry McCullough have requested
that a street light be placed at the intersection of Hardtke and Muskego
Drives. No action was taken.
Lt. Zabel appeared to discuss the Muskego Emergency Police Unit
applications. They will be reviewed by the committee.
Police Dept. Report for the month of June was accepted and placed on
file.
Ald. DeBack reported that citizens along Hillendale Dr. south of
Highway "24" have complained about excessive speed in that area.
Ald. Knudsen complained about excessive speed on Racine Ave. north of
S.T.H. 24.
Ald. Ford moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. The meeting
adjourned at 9:05 P.M.

Chairman Sapp called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
Also present were Aldermen Ford, Knudsen and DeBack and Mayor
Gottfried.
The purpose of this meeting was for the discussion by the committee
of street name changes within the city.
Ald. Ford moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
