• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 16, 1971
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 P.M. by Chairman Sapp. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke, Schaumberg, Narlock and Foldy, Mayor
Gottfried, Police Chief Kraus and Auxiliary Police Officers Bill
Strerath and Martin Mayer.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The Auxiliary Police Department was discussed and it was the committee's
decision that there is a need for the Auxiliary. Further discussions
on this matter will be held at the next meeting of the committee.
Building Inspector Lee reported on the proposed amendments to the
regulations on outdoor swimming pools. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend them
to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg.
Motion carried.
A request from Mr. Louis Sablich to have street light installed on
Woodland Ct. was considered by the committee. Ald. Dumke moved for
denial of the request. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
• The committee requested that the Police Department do a re -study of
intersection of Somerset and Longfellow and the intersection of
Somerset and Hawthorne.
Police Department to report on the number of accidents on that section
of S.T.H. 24 since it has been changed to four lanes.
Police Department report for the month of November was reviewed and
placed on file.
Sixteen (16) Tess Corners Rescue Reports from 10/18/71 through 11/11/71
were reviewed. Thirteen (13) were approved for payment and billing
and three (3) for payment only.
Tess Corners Fire Dept. reports were reviewed for period from 7/7/71
through 9/18/71. Same placed on file.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned.
