• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 7, 1971
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sapp at 7:10 P.M.
Also present were Mayor Gottfried, Ald. Dumke, Ald. Schaumberg,
Police Chief Kraus, Fire Dept. representatives from the Tess Corners
and Muskego Volunteer Fire Departments.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on
file.
The following quotations for radio maintenance of all radio systems
in the city were reviewed and discussed:
Ken Com, Inc. $320.35 Per Month
Motorola 436.50 of to
Radio Communications 440.75 It
Electronic Communications 537.90 of
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approve of the low quotation
received from Ken Com, Inc. in the amount of $320.35. Seconded by
Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The proposed location of the Tess Corners Fire Dept. Sub -station
was discussed.
The Committee discussed the Auxiliary Police Dept. with Chief Kraus.
The matter will be discussed at the next meeting of this Committee.
Ald. Dumke suggested that the speed limits on Ryan Rd. be referred
to the Police Dept. for possible reduction.
Ald. Dumke will discuss suggested change of stop signs in the vicinity
of Hi -View and Acker Drives with residents of the area.
Poilibbie speed reduction signs on Crowbar Dr., south of S.T.H. 24
were discussed. Matter was referred to Police Dept. for investigation.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend that the "Stop" signs be changed
to "Yield" signs on streets abutting Cornell Dr. after the completion
of the sewer project. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
• Thirty (30) Rescue Reports from 4/16/71 thru 5/15/71 were received
and reviewed. Twenty seven (27) were approved for payment and billing
and three (3) for payment only.
Eleven (11) Tess Corners Fire Dept. Reports from 1/4/71 thru 3/4/71 were
reviewed and placed on file.
The Police Dept. Report for the month of May, 1971, was received and
placed on file.
The speed limit[ on Lannon Dr., north of S.T.H. 24 was discussed. Police
Dept.will investigate.
\Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
