• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 26, 1971
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M. by Acting Chairman DeBack.
Also present was Ald. Foldy. Ald. Sapp was absent.
Minutes of previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
• Police Chief Kraus, Chief Utpatel of the Tess Corners Fire Dept.,
Ass't Chief Martin, Iry Stoltz and Del Holtz of the Muskego Fire
Dept. appeared to review the proposed maintenance contracts for all
of the city department's radio systems. After lengthy discussion,
the Committee requested the City Clerk to provide copies of all
proposals to both Fire Departments for careful study and comparison.
Further review will be made at the April 15th Public Safety meeting.
Mr. E. Brown appeared to inquire about status of street light request
for Lake Drive and Michi Drive. No action was taken until Ald. Sapp
is able to attend meeting.
Chief Kraus presented an additional bid to replace blown down antenna.
•He is waiting for further bids which will be presented at the next
meeting.
Communication from Chief Kraus requesting stop signs at Briargate and
Lannon Dr. and at Highway 24 and Parkland Drive, was received. Foldy
moved to recommend to the Public Works Committee. Seconded by DeBack.
Motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved to recommend "Business District" signs with arrows,
at Highway "Y" and Pioneer Drive and at Highway "Y" and Highway 24.
Seconded by Foldy, motion carried. Referred to Public Works Committee.
Foldy moved for adjournment at 8:35 P.M. Seconded by DeBack, motion
carried.
