• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 11, 1971
Chairman Sapp called the meeting to order at 7:19 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen DeBack and Foldy, Mayor Gottfried and Lt. Kass of the
Police Department.
Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
. Police Dept. Report for January was reviewed and placed on file.
Police Dept. Annual Report for 1970 was reviewed and placed on file.
Mr. Greg Lentz appeared to discuss his proposal to hold teenage dances
at Dandilion Ballroom to encompass all teenagers from the Parkland
Conference Junior and Senior High Schools. He requested Police Dept.
chaperones at no cost or at a nominal fee until the dances were self
supporting. The Committee recommended that Mr. Lentz study the possib-
ility of including only teenagers from the Muskego Norway School District
and if this was economically feasable to return with his findings to
the Committee.
Ordinance #177 (Explosives Ordinance). A recommended change in
•wording from the Police Dept to include "use of" was reviewed. Chair-
man Sapp moved to refer to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee.
Seconded by DeBack, motion carried.

A proposed ordinance to prohibit parking of trucks in excess of
5,000 lbs. and tractors and trailers on public streets between the
hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. was reviewed. Ald. Foldy moved to
recommend to the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee. Seconded by
DeBack. Motion carried.
Lt . Kass presented the Committee with copies of the New Berlin
Junk Car Ordinance. The Committee will review and consider at the
next meeting.
Ald. DeBack moved for adjournment at 8:33 P.M. Seconded by Foldy.
Motion carried.
