• MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 12, 1970
Chairman Sapp called the meeting to order at 8:30 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Foldy and Dwyer.
Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
• Police Dept. Report for November was reviewed and placed on file.
Burning Ordinances were received from surrounding communities and
will be reviewed at the next meeting.
Request for traffic control sign at Oak Grove and Lions Park Drive
was received. Committee will view the area before making recommendation.
Sixteen (16) Tess Corners Rescue Squad Reports from October 19, 1970,
thru November 14, 1970, were reviewed. Thirteen (13) were approved for
payment and billing. Three (3) were approved for payment only.
A copy of Wisconsin Boat Toilet Law, Ch. 471, which repeals and recreates
•Sec. 30.71 (2) of the Wisconsin Statutes, was received. A recommendation
will be made after the Committee has reviewed same.
A safety brochure received from M. Rosinski was reviewed and placed
on file.
A brochure from the Office of Civil Defense entitled, "Response", was
reviewed and placed on file.
Ald. Foldy moved and Ald. seconded that Mayor Gottfried correspond
with Mr. Banaszak of the State Highway Dept. urging him to reconsider
the request for a reduction of the speed limit on Highway 24 from
Hales Corners to Tess Corners as passed in Resolution #192-70. Motion
carried.
Ald. Foldy moved for adjournment. Seconded by Sapp. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
